About Hiro

Hiromi Lee is a Japanese artist living in San Francisco. She has been scribbling before she could walk - and now has a BA in Illustration from California College of the Arts.

Hiromi enjoys the overlap between different sectors of art, including fine arts and design. She is most experienced in acrylic paint and charcoal, though she also enjoys ink, screen printing, and a blend of digital and analog media.  Above all, experimentation and discovery of new and interesting techniques always brings excitement. Visually, she appreciates the melding of the slightly creepy or unusual with the aesthetically pleasing to create intriguing imagery. She has always considered art to be one of the only truly universal - and thoroughly personal - languages, as it has the ability to transcend demographic differences.
